Sommer and the Young’ins is a trio made up of Sommer Ferrell, Paul Ferrell, and Matt Claude from the local rock band, “Bodagus”. Their roots run deep with musical talent in a mix of Blues, Southern Rock, and Alternative with a twist. You can expect to hear covers of classic female artists like Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and Stevie Nicks on into some of your favorite southern bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Allman Brothers in a set list to please all audiences.

The Arkansas Brothers music has sprouted from the heavy influences of gospel, blues, rockabilly and country, much like the cotton that bursts from the rich Arkansas delta soil they were raised on. They credit some of their major influences on Muddy Waters, Howling Wolf, James Cotton, Albert Collins and Al Green as well as Telecasters, fine tune amps, BBQ, and redneck soul.
