With a performance list from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, to Abbey on the River in Louisville, BritBeat will bring the authentic sound and look of the The Beatles to Cavenaugh Chevrolet’s Rock n’ Roll Highway Stage. Sonny Burgess and The Pacers, Stan Perkins, and the All Star Band will also perform on the Rock n’ Roll Stage.
2 Mule Plow … “If John, George, Paul and Ringo had owned bluegrass instruments, they would have called themselves 2 Mule Plow.” 2 Mule Plow brings an unusual play list to First National Bank’s Beatles Park Stage. This group has been together since the 70′s and their musical talents have allowed them to perfect a wide range of music. With a touch of The Beatles, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Lynard Skynard, all blended in with the traditional sound of bluegrass, 2 Mule Plow is certain to please everyone.
The Nuttin’ But Talent show will take place on the main stage this year. Entries will be judged in either a musical or dance category. Cash prizes will be awarded in both categories and the winner of the musical talent division will have a chance to open for the renowned Beatles tribute band, BritBeat, on Cavenaugh Chevrolet’s Rock n’ Roll stage.
Games, inflatables, crafts and a Beetle-Bug Car Show are just a few of the many activities taking place during the festival, making it a fun-filled event for the entire family.
